Detecting Induction Loop Traffic Sensor Vehicle Loop Detector 4 Grade Sensitivity
IVD-M1H is a single channel inductive loop detectors. The principle is based on a change in the inductance within the loop which is caused by the metallic components of passing vehicles. The changes are picked up and evaluated by a microprocessor. Ease of use thanks to automatic calibration when the operating voltage is applied.
MAIN FEATURES :
1) When the DIP switch is on position or changing the presence output time, Self-detection
would be done ;
2) ABS align to the pillar which can combine with each other compactly ;
3) Presence output time can be adjustable ;
4) Work mode can be set by the DIP switch ;
5) Pulse output or permanent output can be adjustable .
Detector position and installation
Install the detector in a weatherproof housing.
The detector should be as close to the sensing loop as possible.
The detector should always be installed away from strong magnetic fields.
Avoid running high voltage wires near the loop detectors.
Do not install the detector on vibrating objects.
When the control box is installed within 10 metres of the loop, normal wires can be used to
connect the control box to the loop. More than 10 metres requires the use of a 2 core shielded
cable. Do not exceed 30 metres distance between control box and loop.
